Serene City Records proudly present, S3 aka S3 Dubs with his debut EP to Serene City the highly anticipated Downpour EP. Coming right off the back of the incredibly successful Refractions LP this is an equally unique and hard hitting prime example of the ever popular UK bass sound!

S3 a local guy from Walsall is making some serious moves with music this year via his debut “Silver Haze EP” out with the local grime dons Chameleon Audio its clear S3 is going from Strength to strength with this EP.

1) S3 - Downpour: Track 1 right off the bat is the original coming from bad man S3 where the title is a clear match to the track that opens in rain soaked ambience that progresses along side an air raid siren pushing to the bass heavy drop that will instantly make any one screw face. The infectious yet minimal percussion in this really shows that little is really more with a massive 808 kick flowing between an incredibly spooky bassline, such a moody
stomper of a track!

2) S3 - Downpour (On1 Remix): Head honcho On1, delivers his effort of an already dutty track, putting his classic moody dark garage spin on it. With support already being received by some of the big names in garage at the moment for example DJ Wisk, Brainz & Joedan its clear this one is standing its ground and does the original justice. With a piercing 2 step garage groove progressing up to a angry yardie preparing everyone for the drop of a perfectly sampled heavy bassline and a moody one lick string sound makes this one a must have for an dark garage fans.

3) S3 - Downpour (Vcore Remix): Last but most certainly not least is Vcore’s effort. Coming back again after the success of his debut on the Neksa & Friends EP with his Security Dub which if you’ve heard it you’ll know it was ridiculous and was a classic at every Serene Sound we’ve done. Vcore’s grime remix is equally as moody as the previous 2 tracks but again showing a different element to the original you wouldn’t think existed. With hard hitting kicks and piercing crazy snares this again will make you want to stomp around and screw face, a perfect remix in our eyes.
